PH Nerdfighters Meet-up

So this is now a thing.

If you’d like to confirm for the event, please follow this link. We can only accomodate the first 50 people for giveaways and stuff, but we’d love to meet you even if you’re not part of the first 50 confirmed attendees.

The Tumblr meetup page for this event is also here so that you know how to get to the place and stuff. It’s at a bookstore, so that’s pretty cool.

In which I present to you my new haircut. This is probably the shortest my hair has been in 10 years. I haven’t had this hairstyle since I was in grade school. 

It still feels weird not having long hair right now. I used to argue with my mom a lot whenever we would go to a hair salon because she would want me to cut it really short but then I can’t even be bothered to trim it for more than two inches. So, suffice it is to say, that cutting my hair this short was a pretty big deal for me

 However, this was something I was really willing to do. As some of my friends have said, this is an act of recognition of the fact that there are some things bigger than ourselves. We did this for the kids who have cancer who suffer from the physical and emotional stresses of having no hair as a side-effect of their treatment. 

I did this for the kids.
